Humber Real Estate Salesperson Admissions

APPLYING TO THE PROGRAM

To qualify for admission to the Real Estate Salesperson Program, an applicant must have obtained a Canadian secondary school diploma or GED certificate. Applicants that do not have a Canadian secondary school diploma or GED Certificate may provide acceptable equivalency credentials. These applicants should follow the process for Applying WITH A Diploma or Equivalent. A non-refundable $75 application fee will apply for all applicants.

Alternatively, the Real Estate Education Program Office offers a Salesperson Program Admission Exam to applicants without a secondary school diploma or equivalent. Successful completion of the Salesperson Program Admissions Exam is an acceptable equivalent for admission to the Real Estate Salesperson Program. These applicants should follow the process for Applying WITHOUT A Diploma or Equivalent.

The Salesperson Program Admission Exam, designed and delivered through Accuplacer Next-Generation tests, will assess a learner’s knowledge in three key areas:

  • Reading (20 questions)

  • Writing (20 questions)

  • Arithmetic (25 questions)

Each area is scored in the 200 to 300 point range. Achieving a minimum score of 250 in each area is required for admission into the Real Estate Salesperson Program. Applicants can re-take the exam at an additional fee of $75 in order to obtain the minimum required scores. The test is untimed, but most learners complete it in less than 90 minutes. All questions must be answered, one at a time, and you cannot go back to a previous question once you have answered it.
